The Hoddesdon Special Care Dental Team

Cheshunt Community Hospital is situated just over four miles from Hoddesdon Health Centre. The new clinic will be larger and offer fantastic facilities for patients with special needs. There are ample parking facilities and wheelchair access, with good road and public transport links.

The service’s Clinical Director Una Monaghan says: "We will continue to focus on providing outstanding patient care, offering all types of NHS dentistry including gold standard sedation to our wonderful patients. The clinic has been designed with input from a learning disability expert by experience, and we have also incorporated a sensory waiting area to help with anxiety management. As well as this, the clinic has a separate, dedicated space for oral health promotion. I want to reassure patients that all members of the current team will be relocating, so they will continue to see familiar faces within this new environment. The team and I cannot wait to share this wonderful new clinic with you all!"
