The flu viruses change every year, so it’s important children get their flu vaccination each year to keep them protected and to help reduce it spreading to others.
Most children will be able to have a quick and painless flu nasal spray vaccine, but an injection is available for those who can’t have a live vaccine or don’t want it due to cultural reasons.
We are running a series of catch-up clinics in November and December at different venues across the East of England including Hertfordshire, Bedofordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Waveney, Suffolk and most of Essex for those who were unable to have it at school.
The sessions are available for all of this month on a number of different dates and at different venues until Saturday 20 December.
They are being delivered by our East of England Community and School Aged Immunisation Service.
Full details of all the sessions available are on the Vaccination UK website.
