Appeal to vote for BBC TV show featuring our nurses

Groundbreaking TV show 'Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together', which features our own Children's Community Nursing team, has been long listed for Best Daytime Series in the TV Choice Awards.

The series, which was broadcast on BBC One in May and June, follows Natalie as she trains to become a professional carer through North Herts College. Natalie, who is best known for playing Sonia Fowler on long-running soap EastEnders, explores the world of health and social care during the series through a wide range of placements. It includes an episode in which she spends the day work-shadowing Children’s Community Nurse Charlotte Dalton.

Voting is open in the TV Choice Awards until Tuesday 20 October. The shortlist will then be revealed on 6 November, when voting will be reopened. 'Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together' is up against a large number of other TV favourites, including Escape to the Country, Garden Rescue, Loose Women, Lorraine and Rip Off Britain.

To vote, visit: https://www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/vote on your phone and select a show or 'No preference' for each category. You need to go through all the categories, put your email address, and select submit for your vote to count.

You can still view the full series on BBC iPlayer. Episode two features Charlotte and Natalie visiting six-year-old Iris at her home in Watford and at a nursing clinic at Peace Children’s Centre in Watford.
