The Macmillan Brain CARE Team is continuing to support people diagnosed with high grade brain tumours during the Covid-19 pandemic. Assessments and reviews are being offered by telephone and online platforms such as NHS Attend Anywhere or WhatsApp Video. Should a face to face visit be essential, staff will wear the appropriate personal protective equipment to maintain safety for all involved.

Macmillan Brain CARE Team – promoting Physical Activity for people living with a brain tumour.
‘Physical activity’ has been shown to be beneficial at all stages of cancer treatment, both during and post-treatment recovery.
There are many ways to access rehabilitation in the local community, through NHS & Hertfordshire Community Trust services and through the local hospice therapy teams. Physical Activity and complimentary therapies are available from the following: Starlight Centre (Watford), Spring Centre (Berkhamsted), Grove House (St Albans), Hawthorne Centre (Letchworth), The Living Well Programme of Activities (Welwyn Garden City /Hertford).
