Updated NHS performance league tables, published today (18 March 2026), show we are one of the highest ranked community trusts in the country.
The league table, published quarterly as part of the NHS Oversight Framework, provides a view of how NHS trusts are performing in key services, including patient safety, patient experience and finance. Each trust is placed into one of four segments – with Segment 1 representing those facing fewer challenges, and Segment 4 those with the greatest challenges.
We have been placed in Segment 1 and are ranked 14 out of 61 mental health and community trusts in the country, with particularly high performance for patient safety, and people and workforce.
Elliot Howard-Jones, Chief Executive at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, said: “Our improvement in the NHS Oversight Framework league table is testament to the continued dedication of all teams across the Trust. Our movement into the top segment reflects our continued focus on patient care. This has allowed us to improve patient experience and to make sure our finances are in the right place to treat more patients.
“We encourage our patients and staff to continue to provide feedback, and we will use this data to develop our services to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.”
