“In the community we have one-to-one time with patients and you can build a real relationship with them.
"They prefer being at home and we respect their choice. In an acute trust you have less time with the patients to find out what is not working and to sort it out for them. In the community you see the patient in a holistic way and help them to be independent.
“My clinical skills are important, putting a plan together for treating pressure sores, making sure the patient is eating the right diet and managing long term conditions”.
