The Skin Health service will continue to provide a service which is broadly similar to its normal operations, but there are some differences in the ways that we are working, and the timescales in which we will be seeing patients.

Contacting the service

The service can be contacted on the usual number: 01438 841848. You will be asked to leave a voicemail message as there are no staff working from the usual office. Messages are taken off the answerphone Monday- Friday and we will always call you back. Please note that this may take longer than usual.



The Community Skin Health Service is a consultant led service available to patients who are registered with a GP in East and North Hertfordshire. The team consists of specialist dermatology doctors, GPs with special interest in dermatology, healthcare assistants and administrative support.

The Skin Health Service provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a range of skin conditions in community clinics. The clinics are held across East and North Hertfordshire in GP surgeries, health centres and community hospitals.

We offer both a dermatology and minor surgery service and treat people aged 16 and above.  We work closely with hospital dermatology services, allowing patients easy access to hospital services if required.

The service treats a range of conditions including Skin Lesions, (Lumps & Bumps) Eczema, Psoriasis, Fungal Infections, Acne and Rashes.
