Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising pages. The Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust Charitable Fund is a UK registered charity and we rely on the kind support of people just like you, to help us continue our vital work, enhancing the service of your local Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust by improving the facilities and overall patient, carer and family experience. 

We depend on the kindness of local groups, business clubs, schools and companies to recognise our cause as vital, local and one that benefits all who live in Hertfordshire and West Essex. Any resident, from new born to older age, at any time, could be one of our service users and our role is to make the experience a little better for them.  This could be through improved equipment, the service environment or perhaps a new pilot service that is badly needed but the Government funding just isn’t there.

We do this through applications for funding from grant making trusts, local corporate support, schools, community groups and those amazing dare devils that can’t wait to raise sponsorship so they can skydive from 14,000 feet or trek across the Sahara.  We couldn’t do what we do, without kind support from folk just like them and just like you.

Did you know…

As a supporter of the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust Charitable Fund you will know how hard we work to ensure that every penny you raise goes as far as it can but, did you know:

  • Leaving even a small gift in your Will is a wonderful way to support us and really can make the world of difference.
  • If you are organising your own sponsored event or fundraiser, please remember to visit our Virgin Money Giving page which will be live July 2016. This is where you can create your own fundraising pages.  This will be the most effective way to reach your work and personal networks through social media and email.  Just let us know your fundraising plans and we will make sure to let you know as soon as the virginmoneygiving.com link to our online fundraising pages are live.
  • You can also download your Sponsor Form or Fundraising Pack here. Remember, we are here to support you with advice, guidance and fundraising materials so do let us know your plans and keep in touch.
  • Your employer may be able to set up a Payroll Giving Scheme to benefit the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust Charitable Fund. Please do ask as this is a great way to raise funds for us and support our vital work - because the donation is taken from your gross pay, every pound you give will only cost you 80p, or only 60p if you are a higher rate tax payer.   • Donating shares is more common than you might think – over £100 million in share value is donated to UK charities every year.  As an added advantage, you could benefit from as much as 40% in income tax relief at the same time.   • You can also raise funds for the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust Charitable Fund simply by shopping on-line by visiting EasyFundraising and your favourite shops such as John Lewis, Tesco and Amazon all make a small donation to us, to show their appreciation for your custom. It doesn’t cost you a penny more, but it does help our cause. It really is as easy as that.
