Patient feedback helps revise service changes in Tring

Hertfordshire Community Trust (HCT), which provides health services throughout the county and West Essex, had planned to move three services which were held once-a-week at Tring Clinic to nearby Berkhamsted. There was also a financial saving built into this plan.

After seeking the views of local people, the Trust has now agreed to change its plans and will continue to provide all the services in Tring - Children’s Eye Care and Children’s Speech and Language Therapy at Rothschild House Surgery and the Lymphoedema Nurse will visit local patients in their own homes.

The Trust has contacted all those that took part in its consultation to let them know about the decision.

Marion Dunstone, Associate Director of Operations, said: “We would like to thank all those that gave us their views on the proposals. We very much appreciate hearing what local people and patients think of our services and how they could improve.”
