A cake way to raise money for Macmillan

Staff in the Welwyn and Hatfield integrated community team are digging deep for Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Staff across Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust showed their support for Macmillan by taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning with various cakes, biscuits and pastries on sale.

Dr Carol Scholes, Associate Medical Director and Macmillan Consultant in Palliative Care at the Trust, said: “Our staff are very generous and really got behind this year’s national event. There were some great bakes which tasted delicious.

“The Trust works very closely with Macmillan in supporting people through their end-of-life care.”

Jackie Bick, team administrator, was delighted to get involved and made an MnM decorated chocolate cake.

She said: “The event brings staff together in a fun way while raising money for a great cause.”
