Feedback

We value all the feedback we receive from service users and their families or carers.

Sharing your experience of care with us allows us to understand more about what was good and what we need to change as necessary to make things better.

Below are a selection of patient comments and what we have done to improve things for our patients

Patient information

As a result of feedback about Continuing Healthcare information for patients and their families, written information is now available for community nursing staff to share with patients, their families and carers.

Patient Experience

Feedback received from a patient relative regarding administration of insulin led to the production of staff checklist using the Nursing & Midwifery Council’s ‘seven rights’ checklist.

Your positive comments or words of gratitude will be shared with our staff and can give them a real boost in their everyday work. Below is a selection of service compliments received during the last 12 months.

‘The treatment and attention is first class. (Leg Ulcer Service)

‘Very happy with the service, I liked the continuity of care in having the same Health Visitor for both my children. (Health Visiting)

‘The main issue when visiting is waiting but I was seen in about 15 minutes. The care from start to finish was excellent. (Herts and Essex Minor Injuries Unit)
