Arrangements for visiting our inpatient units

In line with the current national guidance on visiting arrangements for hospital inpatient units, we are able to allow limited visiting to our inpatient units.  Arrangements are as follows:

• Visiting hours are between 2pm and 7pm each day
• Only one consistent visitor is allowed per patient - this person will be the only individual permitted to visit
• Visits will be restricted to 30 minutes only
• All visits must be prearranged with the ward – visitors will be asked to contact the ward to agree a time slot
• A maximum of three visitors for three separate patients will be permitted on any ward at any time

To discuss arrangements for visiting or keeping in touch with a loved one, please call the relevant hospital ward using the numbers below and ask to speak to the nurse in charge. We have iPad tablets on all our inpatient wards to help relatives to stay in touch with loved ones whilst they are in our care. Please ask the relevant ward for more information.

  • All visitors must use hand washing facilities/alcoholic hand gel when entering and leaving the wards
  • All personal protective equipment (PPE) must be disposed of appropriately before leaving the ward
